Jules Tonus

A celebration: Jules Tonus, A Life in the Theatre
Jules Tonus was a dedicated member of the theatre community for over 25 years. With intentions of becoming an actor, Jules entered the University of Windsor and soon after his interests shifted to the offstage pursuits of set design, scenic painting and props. Graduating from Wayne State University in Detroit with a Masters of Fine Arts, Jules began his professional career as a Set Designer. After his marriage to Jill and the birth of their two children, Kristen and Andrew, Jules shifted his career again to become one of the finest Scenic Artists in all of Canada. Jules passed away in 2005.
William Pinnell of the University of Windsor and I.A.T.S.E. Local 828 is working on a scholarship in Jules' honour. Donations are greatly appreciated.
